It is 1606. We’re in London.

Thomas; A passion-seeker who fears all.
Anne; A painter who’s afraid of the call.
Christopher; An old friend clinging to hope.
Agnes; Refusing to slip down the slope.

Four people from a time we claim to know.
Four people from a time we hate to show.
But what if ‘nowadays’ was never true?
What if we’ve always been teased to be blue,
Questioning while unwell and mad as hell:
Do you believe they waited for the bell?

Taught to think that it was never like this,
Those perfect lines straight until the abyss.
But being twisted was never lowly,
Even our horizon is unholy.
