Elephant Woman is a one-woman show that tells the story of Nomi, a matriarch in an elephant herd, which is slowly being eroded by poachers. As she takes us on a journey of her culture, her customs, her community, she shines a light on the extraordinary emotional life of elephants especially love and grief. The play explores the humanity of elephants and the elephantness of humans as it challenges us to consider the parts within ourselves that are on the verge of extinction as we continue to ravage and kill.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times.
