About the Event

This afternoon of Shakespeare led by <a href="http://manhattanshakes.org/tankgenderforum/" target="blank">Manhattan Shakes</a> will be scenes from our immensely popular summer production of Romeo and Juliet and sneak peaks into our switch-gender upcoming production of Macbeth.

There will be open discussions between scenes where we will tackle the big questions of GENDER CONSTRUCTS both in Shakespeare’s Elizabethan society and modern day, how these ideas have formed, how they inform us as men and women, and how we can overcome the stereotypes.
