They have been honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the African Studies Association, and Harvard University, and they have screened at film festivals, independent movie theaters, and universities internationally. Goldsmith Foundation, the Flora Family Foundation, the Wellspring Foundation, the Pannonia Foundation, the Strauss Foundation, and the O’Reilly Foundation.

JENN DE LA VEGA (Publicist) is a California-born and Brooklyn based publicist, record label manager and chef. She acquired a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis in 2006. Previously, she was the electronic specialty radio promoter at Fanatic Promotion and music director/disc jockey at the University of California, Davis radio station KDVS 90.3FM.

SUZAN ERASLAN (Programming Director) is a pop musicologist, hardware hacker, and wearable technology designer dedicated to the integration of multi-media, music, and social interaction. She is a former music editor and fashion shoot designer for JIVE Magazine and co-founder of bleeding edge music blog Resonator Magazine. She holds a master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University where she was research assistant to media theory mavericks Douglas Rushkoff and Clay Shirky.

JUSTIN KREBS (Artistic Director) is a political campaigner, issue advocate, progressive organizer and sometimes-improvisational-comedian. Over the past five years, he has produced a PBS documentary on youth civic engagement, published a history of New York City playgrounds, performed an 8-month run of an improvised show and served in the home office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. He runs a weekly Democratic social club called Drinking Liberally which has spread to over 65 cities across America and directs Cosmopolity, an organization that uses social networks to promote political action. He is a native New Jerseyan, a graduate of Harvard University and a resident of Hell's Kitchen.

MIKE ROSENTHAL (Artistic Director) is an electroacoustic composer working primarily in the realm of soundscape recording and urban acoustic ecology. He holds a BA in History and a BMus in Electroacoustic Composition from Oberlin College and Music Conservatory and is working towards a Masters Degree at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Mike curates the electronic music and mixed media programming at The Tank and produces the annual Bent and Blip Festivals.

TREY TATUM (General Administrator) was raised on the Alabama Gulf Coast where he received much acclaim on the stage as Olympic Traveler #3 in his third grade play. He now enjoys a more comfortable role offstage as a playwright and composer. He received a BA in theatre arts from Birmingham-Southern College and his MFA in playwriting at The Actors Studio Drama School/Pace University in Manhattan. His plays have been performed throughout Alabama, Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York City. As a composer, his music has received performances in Alabama, Tennessee, New York City, Pennsylvania and Prague. He is an alum of the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive in Washington DC. He now lives in beautiful, boring Jackson Heights, NY.
