1980. New Haven, Connecticut — Four months before he will attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, John Hinckley Jr. moves into the Colony Inn with a simple plan to make Jodie Foster his girlfriend. In his first night at the hotel, John and meets Eddie, the night concierge, where they discover a shared dilemma: both are in love with Yalies who don’t know they exist. When Eddie offers to connect John to Jodie in exchange for an investment, their business partnership blossoms into an unexpected friendship, revealing a growing crisis neither recognizes in the other before it’s too late. Falls For Jodie, a dark comedy by Eric Micha Holmes, dares to ask: “How can the pursuit of love escalate to a national tragedy”?

Eric Micha Holmes is a dramatist whose work has been produced by Audible (RAPTURE SEASON), The BBC (CARE INC.), The National Black Theatre (MONDO TRAGIC), and The Apollo (COLOR THEORY). WALKING NEXT TO MICHAEL BROWN has been produced internationally with the award-winning HANDS UP: 7 PLAYWRIGHTS | 7 TESTAMENTS (The New Black Fest/Sam French). His latest play, YEAR OF THE GOAT, was developed through the Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group at Primary Stages. Residencies and fellowships include: Space at Ryder Farm, Djerassi Artist Residency, The Dramatist Guild Fellowship, and the 'IAm Soul' Playwright's Residency at The National Black Theatre. Terrence I Mosley is a narrative-based director and teacher born in Chicago, Il. He has worked with the BBC, The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Mabou Mines, Primary Stages, Irish Repertory Theatre, and Negro Ensemble Co. He's been a guest artist and teacher at Syracuse University, Rutgers University, SUNY Purchase, and Fordham College: Lincoln Center, where he also served as Interim Head of Directing. Directing assignments include EVERYTHING YOU LOVE, SMART PEOPLE, SENDER, EVERYBODY, UNENTITLED (2024 AUDELCO Best Revival), MILO IMAGINES THE WORLD (Associate Director - 2025 Suzi Bass Award for Outstanding TYA Production and Direction), RUINED. He was a Kenny Leon Fellow at the Alliance Theatre. Most recently, he was a Clubbed Thumb New Play Directing Fellow. His work spurs people to take ownership of their thoughts and actions.

hillary bonhomme is a performer, composer, and multi-disciplinary artist originally from southwest louisiana, and based in new york for the past 10 years. her interest in writing music began with her work as a radio producer, which led to composing and performing her original music. hillary’s solo act has toured across the united states and abroad. in 2026, she was an artist in residence at jentel artist residency in banner, wyoming, and banff musicians in residence at banff centre for arts and creativity. hillary is the founder and director of glacial humming, a music-social practice where participants sing and connect through her concept pieces for ensemble.

Padra Crisafulli (they/them) creates theatrical experiences as a sound designer, composer, director, and generative artist, and is most energized when mixing the unexplainable with the unavoidable. Past credits include: Playwrights Horizons, SoHo Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Park Avenue Armory, National Museum of Serbia, Prague Quadrennial, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. They were awarded the Triangle Rainbow Theatre and the Riant's Best Director Award for their online work, as well as a Hæth Grant recipient through Possum Creek Games. MFA in Sound, UC San Diego. BFA in Directing, Carnegie Mellon University.

A recent graduate of Fordham University's Visual Arts program, Reed is a Brooklyn-based graphic designer specializing in graphic marketing and cyanotype printing. Originally from Maine, she draws on her coastal roots to bring natural forms and expressive texture into both her commercial and fine art work.

Cailey Harwood-Smith is elated to be working on Falls For Jodie, and with such a wonderful cast and creative team! Cailey’s a NYC based Props Designer with previous credits including: (Associate Coord. @ Propstar LLC) Broadway/Off-Broadway: An American Daughter, Fallen Angels, The Hills of California, The Wiz, Heart of Rock and Roll, Purlie Victorious, Night of the Iguana, I Need That, Between Riverside and Crazy, The Piano Lesson. Chen-Wei Liao is a New York City based scenic designer originating from Taipei, Taiwan. She received her B.A. in Drama and Theater from National Taiwan University and M.F.A. in Scenic Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a proud member of Local 829. Growing up in a bilingual and multicultural environment, she is interested in observing and creating the connection between people, stories and space. New York City credits include the World Premiere of Islands of Contentment, produced by The Tank and The Hypokrit Theatre Company; the World Premiere of Three Musketeers 1941, produced by Project Y Theatre and was featured by the Woman in Theatre Festival (WIT); the NYT critic’s picks A Girl Is A Half-Formed Thing with the Irish Rep and the immersive production of Life & Trust, produced by the Emursive Production. 

Gavin Strawnato (they/them) is a projection, lighting, and scenic designer and storyteller based in Brooklyn. They are passionate about queer stories and new works. Previous credits include Creature/Comfort (Lighting Design, Exponential Festival), Faggy Faafi Cairo Boy (Projection Design, National Queer Theatre), and Creature Courtroom/Monster Rave (Deviser, Producer, Scenic Designer, Electric Forest). Caroline Pastilha is a NYC-based multi-disciplinary producer, theatre company manager, and educator. She recently completed the Juilliard Professional Apprentice Program for Drama Production. Caroline is the current company manager for the Roaring Epiphany Production Company, a non-profit theatre company that promotes inclusivity in the performing arts. Recent production credits include independent feature film Last Summer (Associate Producer), short film Kirkwood Falls (Associate Producer), upcoming TV fan-series Fabletown: TWUA (Producer, 2AD). Caroline specializes in producing new works in development and enjoys bringing stories to life from conception to stage and screen. Caroline is a passionate storyteller and producer, and is grateful to work with this amazing team to bring Falls for Jodie to the stage at The Tank.
