Four voices share a story of the brain. To be Latinx is to exist in a contradictory state: to live in a language but feel in another, to dream in one body but move in the other.
Veinticinco is an investigation of identity through language across all its forms. It’s an attempt to communicate and give structure to that which has no structure, because it exists in movement, memories, dreams, and song.
How do we make sense of dreams? Of memories? Of language? The chaos of the human experience is reduced to the electrical synapses and neural pathways. Our lives are based on the myth of a brain. Veinticinco shares another side of the story.
