The Living Room and Death
In a farcical domestic setting five family members are dealing with the loss of a loved one as the Angel of Death and Azazel, a fallen angel, bring a surreal and otherworldly presence to the scene.
The play’s humor arises from the absurdity of its characters, who grapple with the profound and the trivial in equal measure, creating a multilayered atmosphere around the themes of death, grief, and mortality. The sense of meaningful nonsense in the conversations recalls the tradition of absurdist theater.
