OUTRAGE
March 2nd, 2022 at 7:00 PM

Blake Williams (Performer/Adapter)
Rob Benson (Director)
Frank Danko (TD/Light & Sound)

Inspired by real-life internet commentary revolving around the 2016 U.S. Election, OUTRAGE is a one man show challenging a severely polarized America to listen more closely. The trolling, cyberbullying, and name calling we engage in on a daily basis behind the safety of the internet takes center stage in this bold portrayal of our national turmoil. OUTRAGE cries out from inside the crucible of America in the age of Trump—striving to create a channel for empathy through the embodiment of Americans staring fearfully across the political divide.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of full covid vaccination before being admitted to the space, either by showing a vaccination record (vaccination card) at least two weeks out from the final dose of an approved vaccine, or by using New York's free Excelsior Pass service, available here. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times and for the time being, no food or beverage will be permitted to be consumed at the theater. Masks must either be medical grade masks or patrons must be double masked.
