Mom said we were just taking a simple trip to a temple hidden in the mountains of Malaysia.
What she failed to mention was that this "temple" wasn't quite what it seemed. As the journey grew stranger, it became increasingly clear that mom knew far more than she was letting on—and that this wasn't going to be a simple day of prayer.
Based on a true story, this is the tale of the most terrifying trip I've ever taken with my mother... and the reason I now ask a lot more questions before getting into the car.
