Fast and Furious is a show about collective experience. It’s a place to make fun and meaning of all the things we experience together as New Yorkers, internet-scrollers, and happening-noticers, but may not have been given a moment to say, “Wow, that was crazy, right?”

In practice, the show is an intimate collection of original performance pieces reacting to real-life events that happened in the 30 days leading up to each show. The event can be something that made international news, or just happened on the artist’s block—but it must be something that more than one person has shared. A set of six 10-minute performances is created by a group of 5 stunning multi-disciplinary artists who return every month to present a completely fresh piece in their medium of choice, whether it’s theater, comedy, dance, music, or something in-between. The result is a completely original evening that leaves us feeling closer to acts of spontaneous art and each other.
