Manic Pixie Dream Girl follows Scott, a self-described playwright, as he meets his muse in the young poetry student named Eva. While Scott crafts what he thinks will be his masterpiece around this new love interest, Eva's personality refuses to be flattened by his idealized version of their horrific pseudo-relationship. Written by playwright Lily Welsh and directed by Anne Karyna Bakan, Manic Pixie Dream Girl is a scathing exploration os muses and the cages we put them in.
