SATURDAY ONLY: live performance of her latest single “Energy” by Apoorva
geatali presents her solo, self-titled showcase of movement. her name, which means garland of songs, perfectly describes the journey the audience will experience. weaving through different forms of dance, music, language, and expression, geatali wraps the audience in a layered garland of song and mesmerizing storytelling.
geatali is a choreographer and dancer in the NJ/NY/PA area, who has spent her lifetime training and diversifying her repertoire, performing, and honing her voice as a choreographer. she is most well-known for her innovative fusion choreography- blending the Indian classical dance style of Bharatanatyam with contemporary, hip hop, West African, flamenco, Bollywood, and Indian folk styles of dance. her work is an expression of life led by intuition and expression. she tells abstract stories guided by musicality, and as a performer geatali transforms any stage to a space of pure consciousness- movement becomes meditation.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
