Taking a page from the Roundabout Theater Company, Fake Friends invites you to a one-night-only benefit reading of Noël Cowards titillating battle of wits, Fallen Angels at the Tank on December 1, 2023 at 9:30PM.
Fake Friends creative directors Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley catalyze their legendary onstage chemistry playing best frenemies Jane and Julia in a raucous drag reinterpretation of a play pilloried by the critics of its time as “unpleasant,” “impudent,” and “decadent.” In Coward’s youthful play (written when he was just twenty-five), the ties of monogamy and friendship are strained to the breaking point by lust, gluttony, and jealousy.
Come sip champagne and revel in the gamesmanship of Cowards farce for a benefit reading raising money for your best, worst, real-life Fake Friends
