Blank Page's mission is to raise questions about our social climate to facilitate conversations about the world that we find ourselves living in today. In keeping with that mission each year, Blank Page Theatre Co. picks a theme that reflects the social climate of the year and focuses on pieces and works that support the theme. This year, plays are centered around the theme of DEI.

The new Trump administration has, through coercion and brute executive force, practically outlawed DEI initiatives in the United States. These programs have existed for years to bring America closer to an ideal world of Equity over Equality. The removal of these programs is the start of bringing the United States back to a world pre-civil rights. We are in search of plays that speak to these initiatives and why they are so important for the future of our society.

We are excited to bring you a strong lineup of four plays that showcase all aspects of DEI (LGBTQIA Rights, Women’s Rights, BIPOC Rights, etc.). These plays exhibit why these initiatives are so important and what life may look like without them. We can't wait to see you there!
