Or does the isolation of trauma and the loves we sacrifice to heal create a barrier too thick to cross?

The Bechdel Group is a New York City based group that hosts a series of readings and discussions of new work and works in progress. Our mission is to challenge the accepted portrayal of women on stage. Our goals are to: promote writers writing for women, create more roles for women, and foster an active and engaged community of actors, playwrights, directors, dramaturgs, and theatre lovers.
