All at Once (40th Anniversary Remaster) is a musical about Margaret Thomas, Danny Marino, and the making of their seminal album, All at Once. It’s 1975, Danny Marino is an aging teen idol, and Margaret Thomas is folk rock’s poet laureate. Both facing dry periods in their careers, they combine forces to record music together. While this leads to creative breakthroughs for the both of them, it puts strains on their already rocky marriage.
In 2015, the older Margaret and Danny are invited to give interviews about the making of the album. They talk about what the relationship meant to them, what the album meant to them, and how both of those still affect them to this day.
Filled with a fun and thoughtful 70s folk rock score, All at Once (40th Anniversary Remaster) is a story about marriage, rock music, addiction, memories, and two people who want to love each other, but don’t know how.
