with Abbey Glover
Living in a box is hard. Abbey knows. She’s tried. But now, Abbey is sick and tired of her box! It’s kept her locked up for 30 years, and it’s ready to explode! Abbey Glover's debut solo show centers on a young woman determined to break free from her box, be herself, and find love. ‘Full of charm and a delight to watch…Abbey is a kooky characterful narrator whose wry take on relationships wouldn’t be out of place in either a Greta Gerwig film or the Peanuts comic strip’ **** (The Scotsman).
Fresh off an Offey-nominated run at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Abbey's Box is 'an empowering hour…doused in light-hearted humor’ **** (EdFringeReview) that left critics ‘spellbound’ **** (Get Your Coats On) and ‘mesmerized’ ***** (Mumble Theatre). 'A playful, poetic and poignant solo show exploring relatable topics through a refreshing new lens’ **** (Broadway World) that is ‘just such a gem’ (Get Your Coats On).
