Before Eve, there was Lilith—the first woman, who would not bow to Adam or to God’s order. Yet love ties her to the garden as she and Eve forge a bond of desire and defiance. Lilith, a new play by Adina Aaron and directed by Samantha Ozeas, is new interpretation of the myth that investigates the gender dynamics, narratives about desire, and embrace of duality which continues to define our culture.
