When a small county zoo's latest addition goes missing, three new recruits are brought onto the team to solve the mystery. Between a day manager with something to hide, a violent and sadistic head of security, and a gorilla handler who speaks mainly in riddles, our three intrepid heroes suddenly find themselves in the middle of a sinister plot that is much more than any of them bargained for. Mixing noir pastiche with supernatural comedy and some genuine thrills, THE GORILLA WORE FUR attempts to tie a knot between what we perceive as real, and what actually is.
