Everyday Charlie

A new one-act musical created by Michael Alan Johnson with original music by BROCRISP, Summer Dregs & Paul Smallman and script by Julie Drexler Johnson & Haley Tomsheck.

Everyday Charlie tells the story of Charlie, a 5th grader who has to change schools in the middle of the school year. One day, Charlie challenges Jared, the leader of the kickball team, to a kickoff. Things take a sudden turn when the only kickball gets lost over the schoolyard fence. Will Charlie and his new friends from the Explorer’s Club be able to save recess together?

*All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of at least 2 doses of a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times.
