A classic improvised whodunit: audience members pick one person to kill and one person to be killed before the show begins. Halfway through the play, a murder will take place, and performers will be tasked with solving the crime. Located in Hyde Park, Chicago and founded in 1986, Off-Off Campus is the University of Chicago’s premier improv and sketch comedy group, and credited as the oldest student improvisational theater troupe in the country. It was established in 1986 by UChicago alumni Bernie Sahlins (A.B. '43), co-founder of the internationally acclaimed comedy group, The Second City. Sahlin’s knowledge and training regiment has been successfully passed down through 37 generations of Off-Off Campus. Now, for one night only, Off-Off Campus is coming to New York to perform a long-form improvised murder mystery.
