Peter Smith's Diana

Performed by Peter Smith
Directed by Jake Beckhard

In November of 1995, Diana, Princess of Wales sat down with then-young BBC correspondent, Martin Bashir, and set fire to the last remaining framework of her royal life. In Summer of 2018, Peter Smith welcomes us into the Anglican Church of the Holy Diana to spend an errant hour with the Princess and her Abstract Entourage. Peter Smith's DIANA is a long-form lipsync and mimic of the ineffable Princess Di at the very moment of her ascension from royal upstart to Queen of People's Hearts. It is a marathon run by Peter Smith, destined to leave both them and Lady Di fundamentally altered.
