Colleen Hindsley was raised in an Irish pub, listening to the wild stories of the characters there - including the two most important, her parents. But how do things change when the wildest stories are only revealed after her parents are gone? In her debut solo show at The Tank, Colleen tells stories about getting lost, creepy clowns, international criminals, and questionable boyfriends. That’s Not How It Happened explores the intersection of unreliable memories, family legends, spiritual healers and just maybe even a little bit of truth.
