FACE ME: An Expressive Video Installation by Emma Zbiral-Teller

FACE ME is a display of the expressions of human connection, the chaos of closeness, and the emotional and physical space we keep between each other. It is an exploration into the minds of visual and auditory memory, how deep we link them to other people, and what we put ourselves through in order to wake up next to someone nice and warm. Are these expressions in our control? Do we choose to make them because it makes things interesting or easy? Or is the breadth of our emotions always in existence, despite our desires, and simply awoken when disturbed by the complications of love?

This video installation will run one night only at The Tank.
