The eighth incarnation of the RULE OF series invites seven writers to devise new ten-minute plays adhering to the same set of rules. (Sample rules from past shows: "Bright sunshine," "A brief speech about masturbation.")

Someone kisses someone.

<strong>Rule 2 | DONALDO'S RULE</strong>  
At some point in the play, there is a beautiful sunrise.

<strong>Rule 3 | COLIN'S RULE</strong>  
Dogs.

<strong>Rule 4 | ABBY'S RULE</strong>  
"Oh, I know that guy."

<strong>Rule 5 | JAHNA'S RULE</strong>  
There is a broom onstage.

<strong>Rule 6 | DAN'S RULE</strong>  
A character does their best celebrity impression. Another character either is or is not impressed.

<strong>Rule 7 | BRETT'S RULE</strong><br>
"DON'T. EVEN. GO THERE."
