Fast and Furious (F&F) presents the boldest, most contemporary, fastest and sometimes furious performances created in response to the most recent week of world events.
Since 2016 F&F has premiered hundreds of pieces with honest hot takes on head scratching headlines, and buried ledes turned into experimental surprises.
Tickets are pay-what-you-feel, and although the recording will be available, the live-chat is a super fun part of watching.
Call for submissions
This is an OPEN call for you to join us in making Fast and Furious! In the week leading up to the show, work fast (or slow!) and with fury (or not!) to create your response to what’s going on in the world, your world, our world. We welcome both LIVE performance and prerecorded video. Our only constraint is ~6 minute time limit and that your piece is made entirely in the week before the show. Furthermore, F&F is in alignment with these Tank vibes:
We celebrate work that is collaborative, multi-disciplinary, brave and imaginative.
Experimentation and pushing the boundaries within your form is strongly encouraged.
We champion projects that are a force for political and social change. It’s about NOW. And it’s URGENT.

Live performance exists to serve as America's cultural conscience. It is the artist's responsibility to make work that shines a light on things when they're wrong, celebrate them when they're right and model alternative possibilities. This kind of work can change hearts and minds. The artist's ability to act fast and create work quickly in response to events, policies and general dumpster fires has never been more crucial, as they participate in building the language of resistance.
Each month, a group of artists comes together to create performance pieces in the 7 days leading up to the event in response to the headlines of the week. The work tends to be made very quickly and, in many cases, very furiously!
