In a dystopian future where humans prolong their lives by replacing their body parts, the poor are dying in the street while the affluent horde wealth so they can live forever. Gray, a disillusioned aristocrat trapped by an overbearing guardian, and Lincoln, the leader of a group of streetwise scavengers struggling for survival, form an unlikely bond that the powers that be would do anything to break. In this twisted sci-fi retelling of Romeo & Juliet, civil blood will make civil hands unclean as Gray and Lincoln battle the violent systems keeping them apart and attempt to escape the same fate as Shakespeare’s tragic lovers. Buckle up, we’re about to show why the scariest thing this spooky season is capitalism.
