Clown Pimp

A struggling, first-generation college student named Leti considers becoming a party clown to pay her bills. But before she does that, she has to meet her clown pimp.

Christine Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American writer, filmmaker, and artist named one of MSN's Top 10 Inspirational Women to Look Out for In 2024, one of Brooklyn Magazine's Top 50 Most Fascinating People, and a Ms. Magazine "Ms. Muse." Her critically-acclaimed work includes the stage play "Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares," the feature films "Sirena's Gallery" and “Her Garden,” the TV show "Badass Lady-Folk," the books Desert Fox by the Sea and Belladonna Magic, the documentary “The Persistence of Poe,” short films such as "Uncontested," "Bottled," and "De Colores (Chorus of Melancholy)," and the publication Quail Bell Magazine. 

Adriana Ascencio is a Salvadoran American actor and comedian born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She currently resides in Brooklyn. In 2022, she graduated from the Stella Adler Studio Professional Conservatory. Recent projects include Claudia (Columbia Graduate Film, premiered at Newfest Festival), Sexy Bitch (Dan Grbic), Queens Short Play Festival (Secret Theatre), Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares (The Tank), and Water by The Spoonful (U/S, The Heights Players). She is passionate about work that uplifts stories of marginalized communities and loves a dark comedy. Some of her friends think she’s funny. adrianaascencio.com 

Kenia Munguia is a Honduran Nicaraguan actress from Los Angeles. She is proudly bilingual in English and Spanish. A selection of her credits includes "Mushroom" (Edit) at People's Light, "Midsummer Night's Dream" (Hermia) with ScriptClubNYC, and "Dive" (Nina) by Mark Anthony Smith. She has also been featured in nationwide PSAs dedicated to improving medical accessibility in the Latinx community. Follow her on IG @kenia_munguia.

Aaron Gold is a comedian, actor, writer, and host. Aaron is the host of "Don't Mind If I Don't," a podcast-turned-TV show where fans and experts of things he doesn't like convince him why he is wrong. He has appeared on Mtv, Nickelodeon, TNT, and NBC, as well as lent his voice to several Disney cartoons. His mental health comedy show, "You Are Not Alone: An Uplifting Show About Depression" has been enjoying monthly performances at the Magnet Theater for over 9 years now, and has partnered with NAMI NYC. He recently played several dark and disturbing roles in "Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares" at The Tank.
