Join The Makers' Ensemble for our 3rd Annual SHORT PLAY FEST, a new works festival centering Curated Writer/Director Collaboration. Each year, The Makers' Ensemble curate four Dynamic Directors to empower them with full agency to select a Short Play from our Open Call submissions, and along with their selected Playwright, workshop and develop a new work in a paid process with free rehearsal space and four work-in-process showings.

The Makers' Ensemble is a resident ensemble of multi-hyphenates. We create and cultivate Live Arts. We provide programming and support for emerging artists to realize their creative dreams in collaboration with the resident ensemble. It’s important to us that the rooms we create are diverse, the work that we make excites us, and the collaboration we build is balanced. We use communal live arts to inspire the next generation of artists and audiences, ignite new passions, foster new relationships, and reimagine the future of Ensemble Practice.

This production is for audiences 18+.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
