Et Alia Theater is proud to present 'On How To Be A Monster' by Maria-Luiza Müller, coming soon at The Tank @the 98-seat theatre.

John, Clara, Ron, Lara, Don, Tara, Sean and Sarah are four couples who like to discuss important issues such as global warming, planned parenthood or starvation in Africa. Or do they? They might have more urgent things going on. Some might say they’re in competition, but they would surely disagree with that, because they’re very good friends! Halfway through the night, Tara disappears. Will they find her? And what is that sound, anyway?

The cast includes international actors Cristiano Benfenati, John Blair, Martin Drop, Adam Fisher, Ana Moioli, Maria-Luiza Müller, Dylan Soal, Giorgia Valenti and Isabella Uzcátegui. Directed by Federica Borlenghi, stage managed by Kendall DuPre, lighting design by Katherine Teed-Arthur, sound design by Austin Pogrob. This is Maria-Luiza Müller’s playwriting debut, don’t miss it!

‘Their strength on stage is their internationality: their backgrounds are different from each other, they act in a language that is not theirs. This helps them communicate in an authentic way and stay out of the usual cliches.’ - International Women Artists’ Salon
