Each scene unfolds as if emerging out of a black and white photograph. What happened before? What happens next? The audience enters a world in which two workers engineer the imagination of the moment. In this realm where black and white meet, experienced theatre artists Betsy Tobin and Michael Gunst tell simple stories with puppets, masks, movement, and imagery. These compassionate glimpses of humanity transpire in a universal language without words.

Inspired by real-life situations captured in black and white photographs, this performance paints an evocative portrait of the human condition.

Compelling music by Jesse Manno conjures the settings and spirit of each “moment in time”.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
