In 1979 Gary Van Patten and Tips Moncrief met at the Johnny Appleseed Preparatory School for Growing Boys in Yonkers, where they formed the rock band Jeez!. For 40 years the two lifelong friends have lived a life filled with sex, drugs, and legally not copyright infringing rock & roll. Songs like "It Takes More Than Two (To Help Move)," "Teen Crocodile," “'96 Olympics In Cincinnati" were occasionally played on the radio and led to Jeez! becoming a generation-defining band... by which we mean they performed music during a particular generation. Join Jeez! for a one night only that night performance of songs and stories.
It's like Springsteen on Broadway, but the guys are less talented, and the show is only 45 minutes.

GARY VAN PATTEN:
Gary Van Patten was born in 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Like Bon Jovi to New Jersey or Lou Reed to a rundown Greenwich Village apartment, Gary has a lot of pride for his hometown, especially when the Chamber of Commerce writes him checks to perform in the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade. He's a child of the '60s and grew up around the music of that era, which had absolutely no influence on him as an "artist." He attributes his looks, dancing skills, and keyboard playing to about 87% of the reason why Jeez! is the way it is. Gary is remembered by his seven ex-wives, five daughters, and six sons named Sebastian as a terrible husband and father. Other than performing with Tips Moncrief of Jeez!, he is also known for losing the Famiglia Pizza challenge to Star Jones in Season 4 of The Celebrity Apprentice. He just couldn't sell enough pepperoni pizzas.

TIPS MONCRIEF:
Born Paul Moncrief in Portland, Maine in 1963 it wasn't long before he was know the world round as “Tips” for his skill on the guitar. As the main musical force of Jeez!, Tips has spent countless hours crafting moderately classic tunes, and reminding Gary that they have a recording session. Tips was raised on the blues, as he was forced to move in with his blind uncle Ray in Yonkers after his mother mysteriously disappeared, some say at the hands of the Canadian mafia, and his father was imprisoned after using unlawful ivory practices during his piano making career. Legend has it that Tips was given his first guitar in the crib, but seeing as he can’t remember anything before his 13th birthday, who knows? Nowadays, he spends his non-rockstar time brewing craft beer in Maine since he’s a wealthy white man in his 50’s.
