Murmuration Theatre Company presents First Flight: a Showcase of New Work!

First Flight features four comedic & socially conscious one-act plays making their NY premiere, performed by new and undiscovered NYC actors, directed by four exceptional guest artists, written by emerging playwrights.

Murmuration is dedicated to creating a platform to amplify new and talented voices, and is particularly excited to be featuring the following shows:

Behind the Smile by Skyler Tarnas

A SHORT PLAY IN WHICH I USE FORTY-FOUR SCENES TO GET ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE by Paige Esterly

Abbie's Mom Has Cancer by Colette Weber Shaw

and

Missed Disconnections by Samara Siskind

Content Warnings: light body horror / medical issues, some coarse language, sexism, described violence, binge drinking.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
