Dovecote is a hurricane play set *not too long from now* in the living room a vintage stilted house in the lower Florida Keys. During a severe storm, three estranged sisters hold down the fort (their grandmother's home) which the eldest recently retrofitted with an advanced climate protection software. As the storm widens cracks both in the system, the house, and their relationship, this nature-human-tech triangle threatens to collapse in on itself, unless the sisters can tend to old scars. A family eco-dramedy with a splash of sci-fi and seabirds, Dovecote explores the ways we grieve, care for as well as hide from one another, and protect the environments we hold dear.
