Dead End Kids, A Post-Covid Dystopian Love Story and Other Alternate Realities Monday, June 30
Brian Leahy Doyle, Playwright and Director
In the U Drop Inn in Taos, New Mexico, on a slow Sunday night in the not-too-distant future, Moe, the bartender, is polishing glasses and Miriam, the waitress, is leafing through her volume of the illustrated Kabbalah while Mickey, the protagonist of our story, remembers Maude, the love of his life whom he met during the BLM protests in Portland in the summer of 2020, and who mysteriously left him... then Maude shows up, and Mickey is forced to make a decision about the course of all their lives going forward… Time for a road trip across America’s post-Covid dystopian landscape in "Dead End Kids, A Post-Covid Dystopian Love Story and Other Alternate Realities"!
