Centered around two Trinidadian families, Chicken Foot is a multi-layered, coming-of-age story about best friends whose friendship juxtaposes two families - a nuclear family and single-parent household -
and facilitates a thorough comparison of both.With the aid of Trinbagonian folklore, symbolism, culture, including traditional mas, and percussive music, Chicken Foot explores elements of surrealism; however, instead of focusing on the characters imagination, attention is given to their psychosocial
experience.
