BLUE WHALE HEART is a love letter to the fast-paced, character-driven romantic comedies of the 1970’s written with a distinctly modern hand. Set during New York City’s holiday season, this new play follows a group of friends as they seek personal and professional fulfillment, only to find themselves engaged in a romantic Yankee Swap.
MAX HENRY is a Brooklyn-based writer and actor. He began his time in New York at ‘Late Show with David Letterman,’ worked on the Drama Desk Award-winning ‘Queen of the Night,’ and recently joined the originating cast of the devised immersive theatrical experience ‘ZeroSpace.’ His writing has been featured by Funny or Die, Thought Catalog, and Don’t Talk to Me About Love.
SARAH WHITE is a Brooklyn-based queer theatermaker. Directing credits: developmental reading of ‘The Untitled Julie D’Aubigny Project,’ Dixon Place Lounge; ‘i’m not here to make friends, bitch!’ part of SHOTZ at The Kraine Theater. Recent performing credits: ‘бабушка BAb(oo)shka’ (Puppeteer/Dancer) at The 14th Street Y, ‘Escape Velocity’ (Millie, Coronae) with The Navigators.
