John recreates The Battle of the Ruhr Pocket onstage as he talks about his life as a gay theatre performer.
John Fisher has performed numerous shows at the Tank and around NYC. He’s the recipient of the Best Actor Award from the United Solo Festival as well as a GLAAD Media Award, an NEA Project Award and numerous other grants and fellowships. He is Artistic Director of Theatre Rhinoceros, the longest-running queer theatre on the planet, and has taught at Yale and UC Berkeley.
Daniel Tobias is a graduate of Julliard and the winner of a LAMBDA literary award for fiction.
