POV: you and hubby are driving to your Niagara Falls honeymoon, fresh off the altar, sipping on a mango lime La Croix. It’s the middle of the night and you haven’t had service for miles, but it's okay, you’re drunk off the bliss of married life! Or...trying to be? Out of nowhere, your La Croix goes flying and the car is in a ditch. Shit, what...or who...did he just hit???

In this dark comedy, Claire and Patrick's newly bound partnership is presented with the ultimate test: will this event bring them closer together, or will death do thy part? Where does the mind take us when faced with the questions we never wanted to answer?

More on the company: UR MEAN KATHLEEN is thrilled to partner with queer, Chicago based playwright and sketch writer Tom Quackenbush to bring this creepy little comedy to the Tank. UR MEAN KATHLEEN is an NYC based company led by August Kiss Fegley and Katie Kunkel. The stories they tell swing big, embracing the full spectrum of genres, from cabaret to burlesque to poetic drama. Last year they became award-winning playwright/producers for their vaudevillian western, SALOON GIRLS, bringing home the 2025 Derek Award for “Hidden Gem of the Fringe” and the Fringe Theater Award. Between the two, they’ve worked with Philadelphia Fringe Arts, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Syracuse Stage, The Tank, and 59E59 Theaters, among others. They’ve produced theater in Pennsylvania, NYC, and abroad “that feels both period-authentic and urgently contemporary” (Three Weeks).
