Threesomes, triangles, throuples—when your eyes water and they don’t stop, what do you do? Yerma is a 1934 play by Federico García Lorca about a childless woman in rural Spain whose desire for motherhood, social isolation, and fuckass husband push her to a horrific act. Epiphora is an adaptation set on the barren plains of Texas where a trans Yerma desperately believes motherhood to be her purpose.
