(softspells) enters the hard places in the body created by the conditions of capitalism and fascism. Lovers and co-creators, we ask “What is the softness afforded by queerness, femmeness, and transness within domesticity?” Inspired by Carolee Schneeman’s Fuses, we dance under projected images of falling fabrics, looks from cats, and intimacies of the flesh.
