A Trojan Woman

Written by Sara Farrington // Directed by Meghan Finn // Performed by Drita Kabashi

A Trojan Woman brings an ancient story into the heart of today’s headlines. Set in the aftermath of war, a woman and her child find themselves alone in a ruined city, echoing the sorrow and devastation of the women of Troy after the city’s fall to the Greeks in the Trojan War. The play follows her journey as she steps into the voices of ten different characters — each one telling a story of loss and survival. At its core, it’s a mother’s grief that shows the lasting cost of war.

At The Confluence of Creeks

Sam Mueller - Playwright & cofounder, Ten Toes Theater Collective - producer, Dom Martello - producer & cofounder

At The Confluence of Creeks is a play about two estranged brothers (one cisgender, one transgender) who are both miraculously granted a bighorn sheep hunting license the year after their father suddenly dies. Little do they know, there's a bighorn sheep pulling off his limbs and morphing into a man who just might be hunting them. Is it their father? Is it God? Is the the Devil? The brothers don't know and they're quite frankly collapsing under the weight of things they won't say to each other. Presented as part of Ten Toes Theater Collective's Mission to produce readings of 31 plays by and for trans playwrights from the 31 states with anti-trans laws.
