Join The Bechdel Group for an evening of reading 30 minute sections of two different plays and join in the discussion that follows. The two shows we are visiting this month are
Catherine Weingarten's Gurl! Hang Up the Phone a horror parody that explores gender roles in a cabin in the woods.
And Paul Hufker's Mews (A Play About Why We Love Our People) a play about two cats in NYC who try to save a depressed writer by taking him on a crazy journey of love and loss through "Mew" York City.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times.
