Set on a December evening, staff and patrons of a New York City diner struggle with the lives they lead and dream about the ones they'd like to. Among them, Natalie, a waitress resigned to disappointment, grapples with whether she can change. Meanwhile, Paul’s gambling addiction puts him at odds with his brother Danny and gets him in trouble when Violet, a bookie who comes to collect. Elsewhere, Mara, a waitress, wonders if her talents are in vain as several comedians spar over the nature of their business. Additional patrons include Selina who contemplates giving up on New York City and Michael, a vagabond attempting to charm Natalie.

**Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
