Cut Edge is a collective of experimental theatre writers pushing the edge of what live performance does.

The Cut Edge Collective meets in New York City to develop original, non-traditional plays. We also meet once-a-month for a salon discussion around issues of concern to theater-writing, and experimental work, in particular. Past subjects have included mysticism in the theater; what makes a piece experimental; gender issues in theater; censorship in theater (both societal and self-censorship); catharsis; core desired feelings while creating etc. The ten-minute play festival gives a chance for our writers, who have been working together for a year, a chance to see their work on its feet. This year's Festival includes:
