About the Benefit

We would delighted if you could join us for The Tank's Annual Spring Benefit on May 17th!

It promises to be a wonderful night at St Marks Church on the Bowery, honoring Tank Alum Baratunde Thurston (who started out doing stand-up on our stages and is now Supervising Producer on The Daily Show) and 3-Legged Dog, a downtown venue that has played a vital role in our growth this year and who has helped us make our smash hits Ada/Ava, The Offending Gesture, and YOUARENOWHERE (all New York Times and Time Out New York Critics' Picks) possible this year. There will be an open bar, gorgeous nibbles, performances from our incredible artists, and an After Party with a DJ and dancing!

We are so excited to celebrate the achievements of 2015/16 and to look forward to the year ahead which, with your support, is set to be extraordinary.

The Tank's mission is to provide a home for emerging artists. We program new work across all disciplines and we provide free performance space, free rehearsal space, promotional support and artist fees – always working towards removing the economic barriers from the creation of new work. We support work at every stage of its development, from a first read, to a one off event, to a fully produced world premiere and we both present and produce work at home on 46th street and at a host of other venues across the city.

Can't make it but would love to support us? Click HERE to donate!

The Silent Auction is now LIVE online, and will continue through May 17 and into the evening itself! Click HERE to see what we have in store and get bidding to support The Tank!
