About the Show

Elephant Run District brings you The hERD Podcast, a platform for audiences to experience work by playwrights and artists performed live in New York City and then streamed around the globe on the internet. The live NYC audience is an important element of this project and we are happy you will join us! ERD continues its New Play Podcast Series at the Tank with Lisa Huberman's Sex and Charitable Giving, directed by Aimee Todoroff.

About the Play

A comedy about love, boundaries and philanthropy. In Sex and Charitable Giving, Ankit and Natasha awkwardly embark on a BDSM journey together. Their sexual fantasy collides with their ethical values when they begin sponsoring a little girl in Nepal. As they sink into the emotional rabbit hole of their role play, third world problems disrupt their first world lives.

About the Company

Elephant Run District is an indie theater and film company devoted to challenging expectations, inspiring dialogue in our community and creating long-lasting memories. ERD seeks to entertain its audiences while addressing issues that affect our society.
