About Marc Andrew Nuñez
Marc Andrew Nuñez is a Swiss-born Filipino; California-raised current resident of New York City. Marc has performed in and choreographed for a variety of works ranging from concert dance to theater to commercials and television. Among Marc's favorite credits are touring internationally as a Lost Boy in Peter Pan, dancing with Entity Contemporary Dance (Los Angeles), Mike Esperanza's BARE Dance Company (Los Angeles), and Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble (Irvine, CA).
Aside from performance, choreography is Marc's favorite form of artistic expression. In Spring 2014, Marc competed at the xyz nyc Dance Series, where he won a two-night event of his own work. Marc Andrew Dance Theater will debut a full evening length show on March 6 & 7, 2015 at The Tank in Times Square. In his work, Marc incorporates contemporary and street jazz, two of his favorite dance styles, along with live musicians and his own written works drawing from his experiences from love, loss, and Mama Nuñez.
Marc holds a Dance Performance, BFA with Excellence in Choreography from the University of California, Irvine. Marc also received acting training at the Actor's Conservatory at East West Players (Los Angeles) and from his beloved Mrs. Cindy Little (Upland High School).
