Katelynn Kenney’s (Playwright) produced plays include ASWANG, GAMES, and MUSE, mounted as a part of the Claire Donaldson New Play Festival, Nightmare on Student Street (by Augustana Collaborative Theatrical Society), and the Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Spring One-Act Play Competition, respectively. Her full-length plays, VOID, GOBLIN GIRLS, and WENDELL AND PAN, have all received readings; the first two were presented at the Einhorn School of Performing Arts and the last was a part of Skeleton Rep's Salon Series. VOID was a 2017 Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference semi-finalist. Her plays share a dark comedic bite and a healthy dose of magic and whimsy. Kenney has also written a short film, Queen's Knight, which is in post-production, and co-wrote two short films that were listed in the top 40 of the 2015 and 2016 Asian American Film Lab's 72-hour Shoot-Out, ’15 having been judged by playwright David Henry Hwang. She continues her studies at Primary Stages, with industry professionals including Leah Nanako Winkler, A. Rey Pamatmat, Melissa Ross, and Edwin Sanchez, and received her B.A. from Augustana University, with majors in theatre, English, and a minor in journalism.

Ria T. DiLullo (Director) is a theater director & creative developer out of NYC, her hometown. As artistic director of The Skeleton Rep, her mission is to explore modern myth, in particular through new works and a specific attention to the body. The Salon Series is Ria's long-running development lab where she opens up her home to a play that's ready to be heard by a supportive community, which ends in a party. She is the recipient of a directing fellowship at MTC ('17 - '18) and a Rockwell Scholarship for directing at Primary Stages ESPA ('16 - '17). Her favorite full productions include "Whatchamacallit: A Play About Jesus" (working title), which is currently in development as an original musical. Ria is also a certified Pilates teacher who has combined her experiences as an instructor, director, and creative developer to teach a Body Awareness for Artists class.

About The Skeleton Rep
We at The Skeleton Rep want to create and explore modern myth. We want to use the bare minimum needed in addition to the human instrument to tell these stories. We need others to do it with us.

We can show great things given a script, actors, and a space. We can experience even bigger things when that script asks those actors to reach up and out to their roles, rather than drag the parts down and in. We need a space to explore. We choose to believe that whatever space we may have, it is perfect for what we are about to do. Let us solve the problems of the script together, using body and space as often as possible. Let us figure out how to demonstrate what might seem impossible.

The goal is to create new work and present it honestly, with purity and expression through the body. When we make theatre together with fulfilling, challenging, and interesting roles that also push us past ourselves, we strengthen our community and the theatre cannon, by adhering to what is most rich, most communal, and most articulate.




Shavana is thrilled to be joining the cast of Wendell and Pan at the Skeleton Rep. She is a born and raised New Yorker and a proud graduate of UConn's BFA acting program! She also spent a semester studying at the Theatre Academy London. Shavana was last seen in Basic Bitch of the Resistance at the PIT Loft. Nya is excited to work with such beautiful minds in this production. Nick is an actor and writer originally from San Mateo, CA. He is extremely excited to be working with both Katelynn and The Skeleton Rep again on this magical production. Nick is a recent graduate of The George Washington University and a current ESPA student. Some favorite NY credits include Midsummer (Tiltyard), New Dawn (Secret Theatre), and The Muscle in Question (FringeNYC). Other favorite credits include Dog Sees God and Another Revolution. Anuj is a happy guy from Vancouver. NYC theatre credits include The Winter's Tale, Richard II, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Split Second, The Confessions of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Basement, and Between Fire and Smoke, and he is a graduate of The William Esper Studio. Anuj has a PhD in experimental nuclear astrophysics from Yale University, was a professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, and is an expert on thermonuclear stellar explosions.  He is particularly interested in developing theatre that explores the interface between physics and poetry. https://www.backstage.com/u/anuj-parikh/


Margot is best known for her role in Sydney Pollack’s final film The Interpreter. A native New Yorker, she was one of the youngest members of Lee Strasberg’s Acting Institute and has been performing in various Off-Broadway plays and films throughout her life. Recently, Margot was honored with the Jean Darlymple award for Best Supporting Actress in a play written by James Jennings at the American Theatre of Actors. Proud member of SAG/AFTRA.
