Eve & Adam’s Enemies

  • Cybertank 312 W 36th St New York, NY, 10018 United States (map)

Eve & Adam’s Enemies is a pre-recorded video performance mixing theater and graphic design, questioning the consequences of the original sin on Western medical practices. Filmed site-specific at The Tank, it transforms the theater’s backstage areas into behind-the-scenes of a surgical clinic.

It is the fifth installment in the “Eve & Adam” series, which has been seen at Summerhall - Edinburgh, Voila Festival - London and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater - New York.

Since almost always, the human body has been mutilated by the strongest.

Science, dogmas and religious beliefs have particularly condemned our sex.

The Eve & Adam series is an exploration on the silent tortures of identity, of sex, of individual freedom and the domination of human senses.

Directed, screenplay, cinematography, post-production by Morwenna Spagnol
Performed, assistant writer, production coordination, filmed by Kasper Klop
Video design and poster by Samir Djafer
Sound consulting by Alex Kelley
